The
Ceremony

We'll be saying "I do" in a short ceremony at the beautiful Turner House Gallery in Penarth town centre. Originally built to house and display the private collection of local merchant, James Pyke Thompson, including paintings by J. M. W. Turner, after which the gallery was named, it is now an arts and creative hub for Penarth.

The
Dress
code

Day
For the daytime event, we ask guests to dress smartly and in attire suitable for a wedding. Add a touch of vibrancy by incorporating floral patterns or wear bold and bright colours. And remember to bring something sparkly for the party.

Evening
For the evening celebration, we invite guests to add a touch of sparkle. Whether it's sequins, glitter, metallics, or accessories that catch the light, add a bit of shimmer to your attire.

Getting to Penarth

Being close to the capital city, Penarth is easily accessible, and both wedding venues are centrally located in the town. If travelling by car from the west, take the A4232 at J33 of the M4 motorway and follow signs to Penarth. If travelling from the east, take the A48(M) at J29 of the M4 motorway and follow signs to Cardiff Bay and Penarth.

For those opting for the train, catch a regular service to Penarth railway station from Cardiff Central. Trains usually run four an hour on weekdays and Saturdays, but only one per two hours on Sundays. So a taxi back to Cardiff Central on the Sunday may be preferable.

Cardiff Castle is hosting a number of music festivals on 19 and 20 July 2024, which may impact your travel plans.

Gifts

We’ve been together for sixteen years,
With all our pots and pans,
And as we don’t need homely gifts,
We’ve got another plan!

Some might say we’re being cheeky,
And it’s not the way it’s done,
But rather than a wedding list,
You know we love some fun!

So if you’d like to give a gift,
And send us on our way,
A donation to our honeymoon,
Would really make our day!

Give online

Kindly use the button above to securely send your gift through PayPal. You'll be directed to a secure PayPal page to complete the transaction. If you prefer the old-fashioned way, we also welcome cash or cheques in cards on the day of the wedding. Your presence and best wishes are the most important to us, but if you do decide to do so, we appreciate your contribution to our honeymoon fund!
